Announcement from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration Chiang Mai University Scholarships for Undergraduate Students for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026 Type: Innovation Scholarship (Startup–Social Enterprise)

The Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration has allocated a budget from its institutional revenue to support students who are interested in pursuing innovative projects (Startup–Social Enterprise).
The Faculty is now accepting applications from undergraduate students for the Innovation Scholarship (Startup–Social Enterprise) for the first semester of Academic Year 2026, under the following conditions:
1. Eligibility Criteria
1.1 Applicants must demonstrate an interest in innovation (Startup–Social Enterprise).
1.2 Must have good conduct and no record of disciplinary action.
1.3 Applications will be accepted in two formats:
1.3.1 Individual Format
Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University, and must be registered for the first semester of Academic Year 2026.
1.3.2 Team Format
Applicants may apply as a team of no more than 10 undergraduate students from Chiang Mai University who are registered for the first semester of Academic Year 2026. There are two types of team compositions:
Type 1: A mixed team composed of students from other faculties/colleges and students from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration. In this case, at least half of the team members must be students from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration.
Type 2: A team composed entirely of students from the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University.
1.4 Applicants completing the scholarship application form must be undergraduate students of the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University only.
2. Number and Value of Scholarships
Three (3) scholarships will be awarded.
Each recipient/team will receive 15,000 Baht.
3. Application Process
Students are required to submit their project proposals using the form attached to this announcement. Proposals must be sent via email to rungtiwa.p@cmu.ac.th from now until August  2, 2026, before 11:59 PM.
