The Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration welcomes international faculty members and students to join our academic and research community. To support your stay in Thailand, we have compiled essential information regarding visa and work permit procedures.

For International Faculty Members:

  • International staff are required to obtain a Non-Immigrant “B” Visa before entering Thailand.
  • Upon arrival, a Work Permit must be applied for in accordance with Thai labor regulations.
  • The university will assist in preparing necessary documents and support letters.
  • Visa extensions and 90-day reporting are mandatory and must be done on time to comply with immigration laws.

For International Students:

  • Students must apply for a Non-Immigrant “ED” Visa (Education Visa) at a Thai Embassy or Consulate in their home country before traveling to Thailand.
  • Upon arrival, the university will assist with visa extension procedures and required immigration reports.
  • Students are also responsible for 90-day reporting and must follow immigration requirements for the duration of their studies.

Important Notes:

  • Always check the latest updates on visa and immigration regulations, as policies may change.
  • Please ensure all documents (passport, visa, TM.6, etc.) are valid and up-to-date.
  • Late reporting or expired documents may result in penalties or fines.
